| Abstract: | Tato práce pojednává o možnostech, jak mohou evropské regiony prosazovat své zájmy v Bruselu. Popisuje základní aktivity regionálního zastoupení a také jejich klasifikaci. Krátce se zabývá paradiplomacií českých krajů a společnými aktivitami jejich bruselských zastoupení. Blíže se věnuje Zastoupení Ústeckého kraje v Bruselu, jeho činnostem a financování. Analyzuje silné a slabé stránky a obsahuje návrhy na zefektivnění činnosti a snížení nákladů tohoto zastoupení. Popisuje minulý vývoj a pokouší se dát jistá doporučení do budoucna. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the possibilities of European regions on how to assert their interests. It contains a description of basic activities of Regional Representations and their classifications. It also briefly analyzes paradiplomacy of the Czech Regions and its joint activities in Brussels. It closely devotes time to the Representations of the Ústí Region in Brussels, its activities and funding. It tries to give suggestions for more effective function, it analyzes its development, strenghts and weaknesses and estimates future developments. |
