| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je zhodnocení současného stavu připravenosti České republiky na přijetí společné evropské měny. Zaměřuji se zde na vyhodnocení podmínek, je by měla ČR splnit, aby pro ni zavedení eura bylo co nejpřínosnější. Významná část práce se zabývá vyhodnocením plnění Maastrichtských kritérií a krátkým výhledem do budoucna. Provedena je také analýza reálných kritérií konvergence z hlediska ekonomické sladěnosti ČR s eurozónou, a dále analýza adaptačních mechanismů, které by měly ČR pomoci při vyrovnávání se s dopady asymetrických šoků. V závěru práce je popsán proces zavedení eura na území ČR při aplikaci scénáře jednorázového zavedení eura. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the ability of the Czech republic to join the euro area. It deals with the fulfilment of Maastricht convergence criteria and predition of their fulfilment in the near future. In this thesis an analysis of real convergence criteria is also included to indicate the alignment between economic levels of euro area and the Czech Repulic. One chapter is dedicated to the adaptation mechanisms that would help the Czech Republic when dealing with the external macroeconomic shocks. Finally, there is a short description of the whole process of adapting euro in the Czech Republic with the implementation of "Big Bang" scenario. |
