| Abstract: | Diplomová práce podává ucelený přehled problematiky finančního umístění pojišťoven, včetně praktických aspektů této činnosti, a zhodnocení dopadů finanční krize na investiční politiku pojišťoven. Smyslem je především zdůraznění nezastupitelného významu statutárního auditu účetní závěrky jakožto garanta nezkreslenosti účetních výkazů a podání souhrnu auditních metod běžně využívaných při prověřování oblasti finančního umístění. |

The aim is to emphasise importance of statutory audit as a guarantee of trueness and fairness of financial statements. The thesis also describes most common audit methods applied in financial placement area. |
