| Abstract: | Závěrečná práce se zaměřuje na problematiku přímých zahraničních investic proudících do České republiky a na jejich dopady na výkonnost ekonomiky Olomouckého kraje a vybrané firmy v regionu. V první části práce je shrnuta teorie PZI s jejich základním členěním a možnými dopady na hostitelskou ekonomiku. Dále je diskutován historický vývoj PZI v ČR spolu s představením systému podpory jejich přílivu. Aplikační část práce se věnuje ekonomickému postavení, struktuře PZI a investičnímu prostředí Olomouckého kraje a analyzuje vliv PZI na vývoj vybraných makroekonomických ukazatelů. Poslední kapitola vyhodnocuje vstup zahraničního investora do vybrané firmy v regionu z hlediska nastalých kvalitativních změn v organizační struktuře a ekonomické výkonnosti firmy a přínosů pro kraj. |

| Abstract: | This thesis focuses on foreign direct investment flowing into the Czech republic and its impact on the economic performance of the Olomouc Region and selected company in the region. The first part summarizes the theory of FDI with its fundamental division and potential impacts on host economy. Next part discusses the historical development of FDI in the Czech Republic also with the introduction of the government support for its inflow. Application part of the thesis deals with the economic situation, the structure of FDI and investment climate of the Olomouc region and analyzes the impact of FDI on the development of selected macroeconomic indicators. The last chapter evaluates the entry of foreign investor to selected company in the region in terms of qualitative changes occuring in the organizational structure and economic performance of the company and benefits for the region. |
