| Abstract: | Cílem práce je analyzovat obchodní spolupráci mezi Českou republikou a Belgií. V první kapitole je představena Belgie z geografického, historického, politického a ekonomického hlediska. Druhá kapitola mapuje obchodní vztahy mezi Českou republikou a Belgií. Třetí kapitola se věnuje odlišnostem české a belgické kultury. Tyto odlišnosti jsou nejprve zkoumány na základě Hofstedeho dimenzí, poté s ohledem na jazykovou rozdílnost země a její vliv na obchodní jednání. Teorie popsaná ve druhé a třetí kapitole je konfrontována se zkušenostmi dotazovaných společností operujících v této oblasti. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to analyze a business cooperation between the Czech Republic and Belgium. The first chapter presents Belgium from geographical, historical, political and economic perspective. The second chapter describes trade relations between the Czech Republic and Belgium. The third chapter focus on the differences in Czech and Belgian culture. These differences are at first examined on the basis of Hofstede's cultural dimensions, then with regard to the linguistic diversity of the country and its impact on trade negotiations. The theory described in the second and the third chapter is confronted with the experience of surveyed companies operating in this area. |
