| Abstract: | Šanghaj je hospodářským srdcem v současnosti již druhé největší ekonomiky světa. Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o šanghajském podnikatelském prostředí, přičemž jsou zvláště zohledněna tamní specifika a vypíchnuty odlišnosti od zbytku Čínské lidové republiky. Práce je tak analýzou několika konkrétních podnikatelských podmínek, a to ekonomických, investičních, politicko-právních, technologických a kulturně sociálních. Dále je rozebrán vývoj města a jeho postupná transformace ve finanční a obchodní centrum Asie. Šanghaj je zde průběžně zasazována do celkového kontextu Číny, čímž chce autor poukázat na nesmírnou důležitost místního hospodářství pro národní ekonomiku. Na základě Světové výstavy Expo 2010 je posléze demonstrována snaha Šanghaje stát se globální metropolí a ukázat se jako nejvhodnější místo pro zahraniční investice v celé Číně. Z toho vyplývá dílčí cíl práce -- odkrýt důvody pro pořádání výstavy a zhodnotit její důsledky pro samotné město, region a celou Čínu. |

| Abstract: | Shanghai is the economic center of today's second largest economy in the world. This bachelor thesis deals with the business environment of Shanghai, taking into account its specifics and differences from the rest of the People's Republic of China. The thesis is thus an analysis of some particular business conditions and features -- namely economic, investment, political, legal, technological, cultural and social. It further analyses the emergence of the city and its gradual transformation into the financial and trading hub of Asia. Throughout the thesis, Shanghai is continuously put in the context of entire China, whereby the author intends to point out to the immense importance of the local economy for the national one. Shanghai's efforts to become the global metropolis and present itself as the most suitable city for foreign investment in China are further demonstrated on the basis of the World Expo 2010. That implies the subgoal of the thesis -- to spot the reasons for holding the exposition in China and sum up its consequences for the city, the region and China itself. |
