| Abstract: | Diplomová práce "Dopady hospodářské krize na vybrané ekonomiky členských států EU" pojednává o příčinách vzniku finanční a ekonomické krize let 2007-2009 ve Spojených státech a mechanismu jejího přenesení do ekonomik členských států EU. Druhá část této diplomové práce se zabývá srovnáním průběhu a dopadů krize na ekonomiky Velké Británie a Německa s ohledem na institucionální odlišnosti ekonomických modelů obou zemí. Úvodní studie druhé části práce se zaměřuje na rozdíly ve způsobu řízení firem, v úloze bankovního sektoru, ve využití trhu jako alokačního nástroje, ve flexibilitě pracovního trhu a také v pozici státu coby účastníka hospodářských vztahů. Následná empirická analýza mikro a makroekonomických dat naznačuje, že se institucionální odlišnosti britského a německého ekonomického modelu promítly do určitých rozdílů v průběhu a dopadech finanční a ekonomické krize na obě ekonomiky (cenová bublina na trhu nemovitostí, finanční situace podniků, pokles domácí a zahraniční poptávky, míra nezaměstnanosti). |

| Abstract: | This thesis aims to analyze the origins of the 2007-2009 financial and economic crisis in the US and describe the most significant channels that caused its transmission to the EU countries. Second part of this paper compares both the progress and consequences the financial and economic crisis had for the United Kingdom and Germany with respect to institutional differences of their economic models. Firstly, the second part of this paper focuses on the main institutional patterns including market for corporate control, banking sector, market as a means of financial allocation, labour market flexibility and the economic role of the state. Secondly, using an elaborate micro and macroeconomic data analysis I compare both the progress and the impacts the crisis had on the UK and German economy. Hereby I show that some of the differences in the progress and economic consequences the crisis had for the UK and Germany (price bubble on the real estate market, firms' financial distress, lower domestic and foreign demand and increased unemployment rate) reflected the institutional particularities of their economic models. |
