| Abstract: | Cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnotit připravenost České republiky na přijetí eura z hlediska jak nominální, tak i reálné konvergence. Práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol. První kapitola popisuje proces formování Hospodářské a měnové unie. Druhá kapitola se zabývá jednotlivými Maastrichtskými konvergenčními kritérii a jejich plněním Českou republikou. Ve třetí kapitole je analyzována reálná konvergence domácí ekonomiky k eurozóně na základě vybraných kritérií. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess the preparedness of the Czech Republic for adopting the euro in terms of both nominal and real convergence. The thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter describes the process of forming the European economic and monetary union. The second chapter deals with individual Maastricht convergence criteria and their fulfillment by the Czech Republic. The third chapter analyses the real convergence of the czech economy to the euro area based on selected criteria. |
