| Abstract: | Předmětem bakalářské práce je spor mezi Brazílií a USA o subvence do produkce bavlny. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá bavlnou jako komoditou a obchodováním s ní. Pozornost je zaměřena také na postavení Brazílie a USA na trhu s bavlnou. Druhá kapitola je již věnována samotnému sporu, jehož problematikou jsou subvence jako jedna ze součástí zemědělské politiky USA. Část kapitoly je věnována subvencím. Třetí kapitola popisuje třetí země, které se do sporu zapojily. Poslední kapitola nastiňuje současný stav jednání a vývoj v dané problematice. |

| Abstract: | The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the dispute settlement between Brazil and USA concerning subsidies on Upland cotton. The work is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is dedicated to cotton as commodity and to international trade with cotton. The description of Brazil and USA on cotton market is also included. The second chapter deals with the dispute settlement itself and with classification of subsidies. The third chapter describes third countries, which joined the dispute settlement. The fourth chapter is focused on contemporary situation and development in this area. |
