| Abstract: | Hlavním tématem tohoto textu je analýza projevů G. W. Bushe, která je zaměřena na dokumenty Zprávy o stavu unie. Náplní práce je rozbor základních pojmů a zhodnocení, v jaké souvislosti se v dokumentech objevují. Jedním z témat je zachycení měnícího se obrazu nepřítele Spojených států amerických tak, jak je interpretován prezidentem. Teoretický rámec této práce je vymezen dvěma úvodními kapitolami, které se zabývají historickými kořeny Spojených států amerických a událostmi osmi let, kdy zastával úřad prezidenta G. W. Bush. |

| Abstract: | The main theme of this text is an analysis of G.W. Bush's speeches, especially focused on the documents State of the Union Address. Text is based on analysis of fundamental terms and evaluation the context of their using in speeches. One of the topics is to capture the changing image of the enemy of the United States of America as it is presented by president. The theoretical framework of this work is defined in two introductory chapters that deal with historical roots of the United States of America and with the events of eight years of G. W. Bush's presidency. |
