| Abstract: | Obsahem práce je porovnání energetiky Evropské unie a Spojených států amerických. V první kapitole je rozebrána současná energetická koncepce a platná energetická legislativa Evropské unie i Spojených států. Kapitola je doplněna informacemi o obnovitelných a neobnovitelných zdrojích. Ty jsou popsány jak z obecného hlediska, tak z hlediska reálné využitelnosti v závislosti na jejich energetické účinnosti a ceně zpracování. V další části práce je stručně popsán vývoj energetických politik obou celků. Hlavní část práce je věnována hodnocení neobnovitelných a obnovitelných zdrojů a energetických koncepcí pomocí metody SWOT analýzy. V závěru autor komentuje fungování energetiky EU a USA na základě shrnutí dílčích závěrů jednotlivých kapitol. |

| Abstract: | The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to compare the energy sectors of the European Union and the United States of America. The current energy policy and energy legislation are discussed in the first chapter. The chapter is supplemented with information on renewable and non-renewable energy sources. These are described both in general terms and in terms of their real utility considering the energy efficiency and processing costs. The history of both energy policies is briefly described in the next part. The main section is devoted to the analysis of non-renewable and renewable energy sources and energy policies using the SWOT method. Based on the findings presented throughout the thesis, the concluding chapter brings an overview of EU and US energy sector functioning. |
