| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem práce je nastínit možnosti budoucího vývoje Korejského poloostrova se zaměřením na nejpravděpodobnější z nich - sjednocení, jeho hlavní problematické body a odhadované náklady. Otázka sjednocení je rozebírána jednak na základě diametrálně odlišného vývoje států po druhé světové válce a vývoje jejich vzájemných vztahů od jejich rozdělení, jednak vzhledem k současné situaci v KLDR a v neposlední řadě s ohledem na mezinárodní aspekty sjednocení a jeho dopad na ostatní státy. |

| Abstract: | This thesis analyzes the development of both south and north economies after the Second World War, development of their mutual relations and current economic situation in both countries. It focuses on the future of the Korean Peninsula, the main accent is put on its reunification, related problems and costs. Attention is also paid to the international impact of the unification. |
