| Abstract: | Nejvýraznějším znakem moderní doby je stále postupující proces globalizace. Ten s sebou vedle pozitivních důsledků přináší i ty negativní, mimo jiné mezinárodní organizovanou kriminalitu. Řešení tohoto problému je možné dosáhnout jedinou cestou, a to cestou mezinárodní policejní spolupráce. Proto se v posledním století objevují nejrůznější formy organizací, které tuto spolupráci umožňují či podporují. Z pohledu České republiky mezi nimi nejvýrazněji vystupují Mezinárodní organizace kriminální policie (neboli Interpol) a Evropský policejní úřad (Europol). Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje zkoumání jejich vývoje, struktury a činnosti stejně jako jejich rolí na poli mezinárodní policejní spolupráce. V závěru se práce zabývá porovnáním obou agentur a otázkou jejich přínosu pro boj s mezinárodní kriminalitou. |

| Abstract: | One of the most distinctive characteristics of the modern times is the ever ongoing process of globalization. While it has many positive features, there are some disadvantages as well, among them the evolution of the international organized crime. To solve this problem, international police co-operation is necessary. In the last century, several organizations aimed at enabling or supporting this kind of co-operation have emerged. From the perspective of the Czech Republic, the most prominent among these are the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) and the European Police Office (Europol). This paper addresses their development, organization structure and activity as well as their role in the field of international police cooperation. In conclusion the paper compares the two agencies and their contribution to the fight against international crime. |
