| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rolí, kterou má Evropská unie v řešení konfliktu mezi Státem Izrael a Palestinskou samosprávou. Obsahuje nastínění historického působení evropských států v oblasti, především se ale zabývá děním aktuálním. Přináší přehled jak bilaterálních, tak multilaterálních vztahů EU se Státem Izrael a Palestinskou samosprávou a zabývá se analýzou nejaktuálnějšího dění v regionu, do které zahrnuje i problematiku revolucí v arabském světě z roku 2011. V závěrečné části pak nabízí výhled do budoucna a zároveň prezentuje několik doporučení k tomu, jaká by mohla být činnost EU v oblasti. |

| Abstract: | The topic of this Bachelor Thesis is a role of the European Union in a conflict betweet the State Israel and the Palestinian Authority. It includes a sketch of a historical activity of European states in the region, but mainly it pursues the actual situation. It brings up a review of both bilateral and multilateral relations between the EU and either the State Israel or the Palestinian Authority. The Thesis also contains an analysis of the most actual events in the region, to whom also a question of Arab revolutions in 2011 is included. In the final part a possible future outlook is presented and recommendations for the EU's prospective activities are projected. |
