| Abstract: | Diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu a rozbor trendů investičního bankovnictví v období 2006 - 2010. Jedná se převedším o trendy sekuritizace, konsolidace odvětví investičního bankovnictví a nové regulace. Diplomová práce důkladně analyzuje jednotlivé trendy a hledá souvislosti mezi nimi a dopady do vývoje celého odvětví investičního bankovnictví. Vývoj je dokreslen na příkladech několika konkrétních bank a holdingových společností v Evropě a ve Spojených státech amerických. Poslední část představuje nástin nové regulace a připravovaných změn v odvětví. |

| Abstract: | The thesis focuses on analysis of trends in investment banking in the period 2006 -- 2010. The main trends are securitization, consolidation of investment banking and new regulation. The thesis analyses the trends in detail and explains interconnections and impact on the whole investment banking industry. The development is illustrated on a few particular investment banks and bank holding companies in Europe and the United States of America. The last part presents new regulations and proposed changes in the investment banking industry. |
