| Abstract: | Diplomová práce podává přehled o auditu komerčních pojišťoven v rozdělení na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teorie je zaměřena na představení auditu v jeho obecné rovině, na pojistný trh a na právní regulaci v odvětví pojišťovnictví. Praktická část se věnuje vybraným problémům auditu předepsaného hrubého pojistného, technických rezerv, finančního umístění a závazků z pojistných plnění. Smyslem diplomové práce je především zdůraznění nezastupitelného významu auditu komerčních pojišťoven, jakožto garanta nezkreslenosti účetních výkazů. |

| Abstract: | The goal of the submitted thesis "Audit of Commercial Insurance Company" is to introduce the process of the audit of the insurance company. Theoretical part of the thesis contains a general introduction to audit, general auditors procedures and audit legislation. Practical part describes the audit of commercial insurance company with main focus on audit of the financial investments, gross premiums written, technical reserves and claim payments. |
