| Abstract: | Práce "Politická geografie Evropské unie: ekonomické souvislosti" je analýzou prostoru Evropské unie z politicko-geografického hlediska. Úvodem do práce jsou politicko-geografické teorie pro nastínění toho, co to politická geografie je. Následuje podrobnější analýza státu jako geopolitické jednotky, hranic a vývoje politické mapy Evropské unie. Závěrem je analýza demografických a teritoriálních faktorů a jejich vlivu na ekonomiku a politiku Evropské unie z hlediska prostoru, kdy tyto faktory působí. |

| Abstract: | Bachelor thesis "Political geography of European union: economic connections" is an analysis of the European union space from political and geographical point of view. There are theories of political geography in the introduction and they just explain what political geography is. Detailed analysis of the state as of the geopolitical unit, of borders and of European union's political map development follows in the principal part. To finish, there is analysis of demographic and territorial factors and of their influence on economy and on politics of the European union from the point of view of space where these factors have impact. |
