| Abstract: | Tématem práce je porovnání ekonomických vztahů Evropy a Číny s Afrikou. Práce stručně popíše současnou situaci zkoumaných subjektů a historický vývoj jejich vzájemných vazeb. Těžištěm je pak popis vývoje dohod integrující se Evropy s Afrikou a čínský nástup na přelomu tisíciletí. Jsou nastíněny důvody neúspěchu euro-afrických dohod, dále motivace Číny pro posilování vztahů s Afrikou, úspěchy Fóra pro čínsko-africkou spolupráci, ale také možná negativa z toho plynoucí pro africké země. Na konci je provedena stručná analýza současných obchodních vazeb mezi Afrikou a Čínou, respektive Evropskou unií. |

| Abstract: | The central theme of this work is to compare economic relationships between Europe and China with Africa. It briefly describes the current situation of examined subjects and the historical development of their relationships. The main part describes agreements between integrating Europe and Africa and China's growing role at the turn of the millennium. It outlines the reasons for the failure of the Euro-African agreements, as well as the motivation of China for strengthening it's relations with Africa, the success of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, but also possible downsides for African countries. A brief analysis of current trade relations between Africa and China and Africa and European Union was made at the end. |
