| Abstract: | Ve své diplomové práci se věnuji vzniku československé armády. Mým cílem je obsáhnout vznik, vývoj a význam československé armády v období do vytvoření Malé Dohody. Organizace armády probíhala za chodu a řídila se zejména potřebami bojového využití v konfliktech na hranicích. Kvůli zdržení části legií v Rusku chyběli armádě důstojníci a na velitelské pozice byli povoláni vojáci z Itálie a Francie. Když k tomu připočteme četné aktivity ministra zahraničí Beneše na Pařížské mírové konferenci, zjistíme, že se armáda ocitla pod silným mezinárodním tlakem, který zastiňoval Ministerstvo národní obrany. Tato situace se po zajištění hranic a po konci mírové konference urovnala. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis is dedicated to the creation of the Czechoslovak army. My goal is to describe its creation, development and significance till the appearance of the Little Entente in 1921. The army organisation took place under urgent needs for defence of state borders. As the Czechoslovak troops in Russia were delayed, commander ranks had to be engaged by the Italian and French officers. Because of many activities led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Edvard Benes on Paris Peace Conference, the power of the Czechoslovakian Ministry of Defence was reduced. After the state borders were established, the role of the Ministry of Defence stabilized. |
