| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá komparací operací Pouštní bouře (1991) a Irácká svoboda (2003), vedených proti Iráku. Práce je strukturována do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zaměřuje na historicko-politické souvislosti vzniku iráckého konfliktu. Ve druhé kapitole je pozornost věnována zhodnocení důvodů vojenského řešení a samotnému průběhu obou operací. Třetí kapitola shrnuje následky vedených válek na situaci v Iráku. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of the Operation Desert Storm (1991) and the Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003), brought against Iraq. The thesis is divided into three chapters. The first one focuses on the historical and political context of the Iraq conflict. In the second chapter, the attention is paid to the appreciation for reasons of a military solution and the course of both actions. The third chapter summarizes the consequences of the war to the situation in Iraq. |
