| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem této práce je zhodnotit stav v ČR z pohledu různých hledisek a kritérií. V práci se zmiňuji rovněž i o Teorii optimální měnové oblasti, která s tématem EMU velmi úzce souvisí. Stěžejním bodem mé práce je ale 2. kapitola, která se zabývá zhodnocením stavu v ČR a jeho porovnáním s ostatními členskými státy či samotnou eurozónou. Na počátku kapitoly se věnuji názorům české veřejnosti na přijetí eura, dále vymezuji a zhodnocuji plnění Maastrichtských kritérií, které je nutné plnit, pokud ČR chce do EMU vstoupit. Další kritéria, která hrají významnou roli, jsou kritéria reálné konvergence. Poslední kapitola plynule navazuje na poslední část, kde se zmiňuji o Klausových "českolipských" kritériích, která sledují problematiku eura z jiného pohledu než kritéria předchozí. Zabývají se otázkou, kdy bude vstup ČR do EMU opravdu výhodný? V samotném závěru dávám prostor přínosům, nákladům a rizikům, které ze zavedení společné měny vyplývají. |

| Abstract: | The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the situation in the Czech republic from different points of view. At the beginning of the essay I write about the Theory of Optimal Currency Areas because it is connected with the topic very closely. But the central point of the thesis is the second chapter, where is described the evaluation of the situation in our state and his comparison with other member states or euroarea. Firstly, I devote to opinions of Czech inhabitants about the task of acceptation euro. Then I pay attention to the Maastricht criteria. Their performance is necessary for becoming a member of the EMU. Other important criteria are so called real convergence criteria. The last part of the chapter describes the "českolipská" criteria, suggested by Václav Klaus, which answer the following question: "When is it advantageous for the Czech republic to become a member of the EMU?" At the end are added the advantages and disadvantages connected with membership in The EMU. |
