| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce mapuje ve třech kapitolách vývoj ekonomiky Austrálie v prvním desetiletí dvacátého prvního století. Detailněji se zabývá kontinuálním růstem ekonomiky, jenž se udržel i během finanční krize (2008-2010), a opatřeními vlády, které k udržení růstu přispěly. Kromě popisu základních makroekonomických veličin (HDP, inflace, nezaměstnanost) se detailněji věnuje zahraničnímu obchodu - jeho komoditní a teritoriální struktuře. Je zde analyzován vývoj platební bilance s důrazem na běžný účet. V neposlední řadě se práce zabývá specifikem Austrálie, nerostným bohatstvím. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis aims to describe the development of Australian economy during the first decade of the 21st century. It investigates closely its constantly growing economy which kept growing also during the historic recession (2007-2010) and the steps taken by government, which contributed to its sustainable growth. Beside the description of basic macroeconomic indicators (GDP, inflation and unemployment rate), it also analyses the foreign trade, its commodity and territorial structure. The development of balance of payments is analysed with stress on the current account. Last but not least, this thesis deals with mineral resources which form australian special characteristics. |
