| Abstract: | Tato práce pojednává o stavu freeware nástrojů pro podporu projektového řízení v České republice. Účelem práce je především zjistit, v jakém rozsahu jsou nástroje s touto licencí využívány v porovnání s nástroji placenými. Konkrétním cílem práce je ověřit pravdivost dvou hypotéz: Většina organizací v České republice freeware nástroje pro podporu projektového řízení nepoužívá. Freeware nástroje nedosahují funkčnosti nástrojů placených. Tohoto cíle je v práci dosaženo zaprvé provedením celorepublikového průzkumu mezi organizacemi v rámci odvětví informačních a komunikačních technologií, zadruhé zhodnocením nejrozšířenějších freeware nástrojů, z tohoto průzkumu vycházejících, dle jejich funkcionality a posouzením jejich schopnosti nahradit nástroje placené. Přínos práce pramení zejména v odhalení aktuálního stavu využívaní nástrojů pro podporu projektového řízení na českém trhu, v seznámení organizací s těmito informacemi a v popsání úrovně funkcionality současně používaných freeware nástrojů pro podporu projektového řízení. Struktura práce má podobu úvodního popsání disciplíny projektového řízení, jeho termínů, procesů, faktorů, popsání metodik a nástrojů pro jeho podporu. Následuje praktická část založená především na celorepublikovém průzkumu v odvětví informačních a komunikačních technologií zaměřeného na zodpovězení jedné z hypotéz. Ověření pravdivosti druhé hypotézy je dosaženo v poslední části práce, která opět prakticky hodnotí úroveň funkcionality freeware nástrojů projektového řízení. |

| Abstract: | The purpose of this thesis is to discover in what scale freeware project management tools are used in the Czech Republic. The specific goal of this thesis is to verify whether these two hypotheses are true: Freeware project management tools are not used by majority of organizations in the Czech Republic. Freeware project management tools do not reach the functionality level of commercial software. This objective is achieved firstly by making a survey in the whole state scale in the field of information and communication technology and secondly by evaluating the most widely used freeware project management tools, based on the survey, by their functionality level and by considering their ability to replace commercial software. The contribution of this thesis is to discover the actual state of project management tools usage in the Czech Republic, to introduce these facts to the companies at this market and to define the functionality level of presently used freeware project management tools. The structure of this thesis is based on three parts. The first part refers to general information about project management such as its terms, usage, processes, factors that affect goals of a project, methodologies and tools. The second part involves the analysis of project management tools usage in the Czech Republic. The third part provides the most widely used freeware project management tools evaluation analysis. |
