| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce je věnována hodnocení činnosti muzea a úvaze o jeho současné hodnotě pro veřejnost. Mezi cíle práce patří vymezení základních muzeologických pojmů a přiblížení vzniku muzeí v České republice a v západní Evropě. Součástí teoretické části je i zmapování současného stavu počtu muzeí v České republice a jejich návštěvnosti. V praktické části se zaměřuji na úspěšnou přestavbu muzea Obuvi a kamene ve Skutči, díky níž se podařilo vybudovat unikátní atraktivitu cestovního ruchu a vytvořit nové expozice, věnované typickým řemeslům této oblasti -- obuvnictví a kamenictví. Ve Skutečském muzeu se podařilo zvýšit návštěvnost a muzeum bylo oceněno Zvláštní cenou v soutěži Gloria Musaealis 2009. |

| Abstract: | Bachelor thesis is devoted to description of museum activities and determination of their present value for the public. The goals of this work include the definition of basic concepts, characterization of museums in the Czech Republic and Western Europe. Part of this theoretical part describes the present state of museums in the Czech Republic and their attendance. In the case study I focus on the successful renovation of theMuseum of shoes and stones in Skutec which managed to build a unique tourism attraction and helped to create a new exhibitions devoted shoemaking-trade and stonework characteristic for this area. Attendance has increased at the museum of Skutec and the museum was awarded a special prize in the competition Gloria Musaealis 2009. |
