| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá měřením zdravotního stavu populace ve světě i v České republice a to z hlediska sociálního, ekonomického a environmentálního. Práce se zaměřuje na přístupy k výše uvedené problematice a to na mezinárodní i národní úrovni. Oblast mezinárodního porovnání je demonstrovaná na přístupu prestiţních publikací Health at a Glance: Europe 2010 a World Health Statistics 2010 z produkce OECD a WHO. Z českých publikací jsem do srovnání zahrnula Zdravotnickou ročenku České republiky 2009, Výběrové šetření zdravotního stavu populace a Studii HELEN. |

| Abstract: | The thesis focuses on measurement of the health of the population in the world and in the Czech Republic. It considers social, economic and environemental characteristics and also deals with approaches at both international and national levels. The area of international comparison is based on the approach of prestigious publications Health at a Glance: Europe 2010 and World Health Statistics 2010 produced by OECD and WHO. I have also included comparisons from the Czech publication: Zdravotnická ročenka České republiky 2009, Výběrové šetření zdravotního stavu populace and Studie HELEN Health, Life Style and Environment). |
