| Abstract: | Práce zkoumá vznik a vývoj hiphopové subkultury a její zapojení v rámci společnosti a kreativních průmyslů. Práce vychází z dostupné literatury v češtině a ze zahraničních pramenů. Jejím cílem je doložení přímého a nepřímého efektu kultury na ekonomiku. Práce se zaměřuje zejména na vliv hip hopu na americký trh. Rozebírá také globální přesah této subkultury a stručně se věnuje i ekonomickým a sociálním souvislostem hiphopu v rámci české společnosti. |

| Abstract: | The thesis examines the origin and evolution of hip-hop subculture and its involvement in society as well as relation to creative industries. Economic side of the whole phenomena is important part of the thesis. The work is based on available literature in the Czech and foreign sources. Its aim is to demonstrate both direct and side effects of culture on economy while describing examples of hip hop connection to the market in the first years of its rise as well as in the recent years. The thesis is not determined only by African American hip hop subculture, but also by the current global and overlapping functions in the contemporary world and Czech society. |
