| Abstract: | V poslední době, kdy mnoho států zasáhla silná hospodářská recese, zněly z úst vládních představitelů slova o potřebě zahraničních investic pro naši ekonomiku. Investice představují základní kámen fungování moderního národního hospodářství. Proto se jednotlivé státy snaží nejrůznějšími pobídkami přilákat co nejvíce investorů. Cílem práce je odhalit, zda tyto pobídky představují efektivní řešení získávání investic. Na toto téma vzniklo několik renomovaných analýz. Porovnáním závěrů dvou analýz, které přinášejí odlišné výsledky, zjistíme, zda by se měl tento systém i nadále využívat. Zároveň je v závěru této práci nastíněn realistický model, který by mohl určit, jaké fiskální dopady investiční pobídky skutečně přinášejí. |

| Abstract: | Lately, when many countries were affected by a strong economic recession, many government representatives pointed out the need of foreign investments in our economy. Investments are the cornerstone of modern national economy. Countries therefore endeavour to attract as many investors as possible using various investment incentives. The aim of the present thesis is to discover whether these incentives represent an effective option for obtaining investments. There have been several notable analyses on this subject. By comparing the conclusions of two analyses, which yielded contradictory results, we can find out whether this system should be used in the future. The thesis also outlines a realistic model that could determine the actual fiscal impact of investment incentives. |
