| Abstract: | Evropská unie je organizací, která nemá nikde na světě srovnání. Její vývoj a změny, které přinesla Lisabonská smlouva, jsou aktuálním tématem a týkají se nás všech, občanů České republiky, jakožto občanů členské země Evropské unie. Je proto důležité, abychom byli informováni nejen o jejím fungování, pravomocech a hlavních úkolech jejich institucí, postoji a právech členských zemí, ale i o změnách, které přináší ratifikace nových smluv. Cílem mé práce je podat přehled institucionálního vývoje Evropské unie a zejména analyzovat zásadní změny, které ve fungování Unie Lisabonská smlouva přinesla, a jaký dopad má na demokratický deficit. Práce je rozdělena do 3 kapitol. V první kapitole se zabývám teorií evropské integrace. V druhé následuje rozhodování v rámci Evropské unie a dělba pravomocí, a také analýza veřejné volby evropské integrace. V závěrečné kapitole se zaměřím na Lisabonskou smlouvu a změny, které tato smlouva přinesla, a její vliv na demokratický deficit Evropské unie. |

| Abstract: | The European Union is an organization which has no comparison anywhere in the world. The developments and changes brought about by the Lisbon Treaty are the current theme and involve all of us, citizens of the Czech Republic, as citizens of the EU Member States. It is therefore important to be aware not only of its functioning, powers and responsibilities of key institutions, attitudes and rights of member countries, but also the changes brought by the ratification of new contracts. The aim of my work is to review the institutional development of the European Union and in particular to analyze the major changes in the functioning of the EU Treaty of Lisbon would bring and what impact it has on the democratic deficit. The work is divided into 3 chapters. The first chapter deals with theories of European integration. The second follows the decision in the European Union and the division of powers, and public choice analysis of European integration. The final chapter will focus on the Lisbon treaty and the changes brought by this treaty, and its influence on the democratic deficit in the European Union. |
