| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá pádem investiční banky Lehman Brothers a rozborem možných příčin, které k pádu přispěly. V úvodní části je vysvětleno investiční bankovnictví, sekuritizace, která sehrála významnou roli nejen v krachu banky, ale i v celé finanční krizi, a dále je zde zmíněna regulace a její souvislost s krizí a s Lehman Brothers. Práce se dále věnuje popisu pádu banky v kontextu dalších událostí na finančních trzích a následně jsou rozebrány příčiny, které se zřejmě na bankrotu Lehman Brothers podílely. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor's thesis deals with the collapse of Lehman Brothers and the analysis of possible factors that contributed to the collapse. In the introductory section are explained the investment banking, securitization, which played an important role not only in bank failure, but also in financial crisis, and there is also mention of regulation and its relation to the crisis and Lehman Brothers. The thesis also deals with the description of the bank's collapse in the context of other events in financial markets and subsequently analyzed the causes of which are apparently on the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers participated. |
