| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá teoretickými i praktickými rozdíly mezi elitní a masovou kulturou v oblasti kinematografie. První část práce se nejprve zabývá teoretickou podstatou dělení kultury na vysokou a nízkou, jsou zde i popsány historické momenty, které vedly k tomuto dělení v oblasti kinematografie. V empirické části se již práce soustředí pouze na české kinematografické prostředí, jsou zde vymezeny rozdíly a uvedeny příklady kinosálů spojovaných s elitní a masovou kinematografií. Konkrétně je práce zaměřena na diváckou strukturu, program, prostředí a ceny vstupenek těchto kin. Součástí práce je i vlastní dotazníkové šetření na toto téma. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis focuses on the difference between elite and mass culture in cinema from theoretical and practical point of view. The first part of the thesis addresses the description of both types of culture (elite and mass) and it focuses also on the historic moments that are essential for that kind of division in cinema. The empirical part describes Czech cinema. It explains what types of movie theaters are associated with elite and mass culture in cinema and what types of programs, audience and ticket prices are connected with it. The last part of the thesis focuses on the survey of audience preferences. |
