| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá politicko-ekonomickými aspekty ostrova, který prostřednictvím řecko-tureckých vztahů ovlivňuje utváření mezinárodních vztahů na světě. První kapitola stručně zachycuje historicko-politický vývoj ostrova od starověku až po současnost. Druhá kapitola popisuje politicko-ekonomické aspekty Kyperské republiky a její snahy o integraci do evropských struktur. Třetí část této bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na politicko-ekonomické aspekty Severokyperské turecké republiky a na problematiku jejího mezinárodního uznání. Poslední kapitola této bakalářské práce je věnována pokusům o vyřešení kyperské otázky a možnostem směřování ostrova do budoucna. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with politico-economic aspects of the island, through which the Greco-Turkish relations affects the formation of international relations in the world. The first chapter briefly captures the historical and political developments from antiquity to the present. The second chapter describes the politico-economic aspects of the Cyprus Republic and its efforts to integrate into European structures. The third part of this thesis focuses on the politico-economic aspects of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the issue of its international recognition. The last chapter of this thesis is devoted to attempts to resolve the Cyprus issue and the possibilities for the future direction of the island. |
