| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se snaží nastínit situaci a význam městské zeleně v současné době, ale i její historický význam a vývoj. V teoretické části poukazuje na historické milníky ve vývoji zahradního umění a popisuje současné trendy v tomto směru, zejména ve velkoměstech. Snaží se také shrnout možnosti obnovy a ochrany zelených ploch. V praktické části pak práce popisuje formou případových studií několik příkladů vývoje městské zeleně. Poukazuje na nedostatky současných trendů ve výstavbě a upozorňuje na rozdíly mezi jednotlivými typy zeleně v Praze. |

| Abstract: | This dissertation is trying to outline the situation and importance of green vegetation in cities nowadays, but also its historical significance and development. In the theoretical part it refers to historical milestones regarding the development of garden art and describes its current trends, especially in big cities. It's also trying to summarize the possibilities of renewal and preservation of the green areas. In the practical part the dissertation outlines several examples of the development of green vegetation in cities in the form of case studies. It refers to deficiancies of the current trends in construction in progress and it outlines the differences between types of the green vegetation in Prague. |
