| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá komparací právní úpravy ochrany spotřebitele v ČR, USA a Chorvatské republice a vybraných právních institutů. V úvodní části se věnuji obecným otázkám souvisejícím s ochranou spotřebitele, konkrétně základním pojmům, počátku vývoje práva na ochranu spotřebitele (práva ochrany spotřebitele) ve světě a důvody ochrany spotřebitele vůbec. Následuje kapitola pojednávající o pramenech současné právní úpravy ochrany spotřebitele v jednotlivých zemích. Druhou část tvoří jádro práce, neboť se již zabývá samotnou komparací vybraných otázek. Porovnáváme tak právní definice základních subjektů práva ochrany spotřebitele, a dále instituty jako jsou odpovědnost za vady a odpovědnost za škodu způsobenou vadou výrobku. |

| Abstract: | The main purpose of this thesis is the comparison of consumer protection legislation in the Czech republic, United States of America and Croatia and the comparison of selected legal questions. After the introduction to the general issues related to consumer protection, namely the basic concepts, the development of consumer protection law in the world and the reasons of protection of consumer, the work deals with legal sources of current czech, american and croatian consumer protection law. Actual comparisons of personally selected legal questions is creating the core of the thesis. We are comparing legal definitions of basic subjects of consumer protection law, warranty and products liability as described in laws of each country. |
