| Abstract: | Cílem této diplomové práce je teoreticky vymezit externí a interní audit a blíže se seznámit jak probíhá jejich spolupráce v praxi v bance. Zkušenosti z praxe byly konzultovány v jedné z největších bank působících na českém trhu. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a část aplikační. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy, cíle a definice obou auditů. Pro oba audity je zmíněna právní regulace auditorské profese a podrobně je popsán auditorský postup. Na konci obou částí jsou zmíněna specifika auditů v bankovnictví. V aplikační části je čerpáno z informací poskytnutých z praxe. Tato část se zabývá především spoluprací externího a interního auditu v bance. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to describe the theory of external and internal audit and to familiarize with a practical prespective on cooperation between external and internal auditors in banks. Specifically, the cooperation between external and internal auditors was consulted with one of the biggest banks in the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into theoretical anc practical part. The theoretical part deals with definitions and bacis principles of external and internal audit. Moreover, auditing standards and code of ethics are presented. The practical part is based on the information about professional experience of auditors and is focused on cooperation between external and internal auditors in banks. |
