| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem přístavu Koper v posledních deseti letech včetně jeho dopravního napojení na trhy ve střední a východní Evropě. Cílem práce je zjistit, jestli má přístav Koper potenciál k úspěšnému růstu a jestli by se mohl stát rovnocenným konkurentem evropských přístavů v Severním moři. Cílem je také identifikovat příležitosti, kterých by měl přístav využít, a případné překážky, které je třeba odstranit, aby se mohl přístav Koper úspěšně rozvíjet. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis deals with the development of the port of Koper during last ten years, including its transport links to markets in Central and Eastern Europe. The aim is to determine, whether the port of Koper has its potential to grow, and if it could become an equal competitor to European ports in the North Sea. It also aims to identify opportunities that should be used, and obstacles that should be overcome in order to ensure successful development of the port of Koper. |
