| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je analyzovat postavení Velké Británie v mezinárodním obchodě a světové ekonomice. V první kapitole se věnuje současné ekonomické situaci Spojeného království a zkoumá, jaké dopady měla na britskou ekonomiku finanční krize z roku 2008. Druhá kapitola popisuje obchod se zbožím a službami a věnuje se také investičním tokům. V třetí kapitole je rozebrána pozice Británie v rámci Evropské unie, včetně problematiky společné měny a smlouvy o rozpočtové odpovědnosti. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to analyze the position of United Kingdom in international trade and global economy. First chapter deals with current economic situation of the United Kingdom and examines what effect had the financial crisis from 2008 on British economy. Second chapter describes trade in goods and services and is also dedicated to investment flows. Third chapter assesses the position of United Kindom within the European Union, including the issue of single currency and fiscal compact. |
