| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je, pokud možno, stručně shrnout tématiku lithia a zahrnout tak co nejvíce informací k zasvěcení laika do tohoto oboru. Tato práce poskytuje základní informace o lithiu jakožto prvku a kovu. Následuje výčet možností užití lithia s důrazem na význam bateriového průmyslu. Značná část je pak věnována výběru několika zemí s nalezišti této suroviny. Nakonec jsou zmíněna možná rizika průmyslu těžby a zpracování lithia a závěrem práce shrnutí zdali by investice do lithia mohla být výnosná. |

| Abstract: | The purpose of this thesis was to most briefly summarize lithium topic, including as much information as possible, to introduce inexpert to this field. This thesis provides basic information about lithium as element and metal. It continues with enumeration of its applications emphasizing its importance in battery industry. Significant part of this thesis is dedicated to selection of some of the countries with lithium sites and reserves. Last there are suggestions of possible threats in rise of this industry. In conclusion there is a summary, whether the investment in lithium could be profitable. |
