| Abstract: | Práca sa zaoberá podmienkami pôsobenia poisťovacích sprostredkovateľov na českom poistnom trhu.Hlavným cieľom práce je priblížiť legislatívu upravujúcu sprostredkovateľskú činnosť a zároveň zistiť jej nedostatky. V prvej kapitole sú popísané špecifiká poistných produktov, ktoré zásadným spôsobom ovplyvňujú ich distribúciu, v druhej sú analyzované distribučné kanály. Tretia časť sa venuje aktuálne platným zákonom a predloženému návrhu novelizácie. Posledná kapitola sa zaoberá názormi obyvateľov na pôsobenie poisťovacích sprostredkovateľov v Českej republike. |

| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá podmínkami působení pojišťovacích zprostředkovatelů na českém pojistném trhu. Hlavním cílem práce je přiblížit současnou legislativu upravující zprostředkovatelskou činnost a zároveň zjistit její nedostatky. V první kapitole jsou popsány specifika pojistných produktů, které zásadním způsobem ovlivňují jejich distribuci, ve druhé jsou analyzovány distribuční kanály. Třetí část se věnuje aktuálně platným zákonům a předloženému návrhu novelizace. Poslední kapitola se zabývá názory obyvatel na působení pojišťovacích zprostředkovatelů v České republice. |

| Abstract: | This paper is focused on the conditions under which insurance agents (mediators) can operate in the insurance market of the Czech Republic. The main aim of this paper is to outline the current legislation regulating the activities of insurance agents and evaluate the weaknesses identified in this legislation. The first chapter is focused on the specifications of individual insurance products offered and the ways in which these characteristics influence their distribution. Second chapter discusses the different distribution channels available. The third chapter is focused on current legislation in this area and the amendment recently submitted for approval. The general public opinion on the activities of insurance agents in the Czech Republic is evaluated in the last chapter. |
