| Abstract: | Cílem práce je zjistit na příkladu stěžejních zemí Evropské měnové unie - Francie a Německa, zda je jednotná evropská měna dostatečným předpokladem pro ekonomickou stabilitu vybraných zemí a celé Eurozóny. V teoretické části jsou nastíněny historické souvislosti vzniku jednotné evropské měny a role Francie a Německa v procesu evropské integrace. A praktická část obsahuje analýzu dopadů zavedení jednotné evropské měny na makroekonomické ukazatele Francie a Německa. Konkrétní dopady přijetí společné měny jsou hodnoceny na inflaci, na obyvatele, na mezinárodní obchod s Francií a Německem a na ekonomický růst. |

| Abstract: | The objective of this thesis is to find out on the example of the core countries of the Euro area - France and Germany, if a single european currency is a sufficient assumption for economic stability of the selected countries and of the Euro area. The theoretical part outlines historical consequences of the creation of a single european currency and the roles of France and Germany in the European integration. The practical section contains an analysis of impacts of introducing the single european currency. Particular impacts of the adoption of common currency are assessed on inflation, on inhabitants, on international business with France and Germany and on economic growth. |
