| Abstract: | Cílem práce je určit a popsat charakteristické rysy čínské ekonomické expanze do Afriky a na případových studiích několika vybraných afrických států hlouběji prozkoumat vliv pronikání Číny na domácí ekonomiku, místní firmy a obyvatele. První kapitola práce stručně popisuje ekonomiku Číny a Afriky jako celku, vymezuje čínské aktéry, jejich motivy a charakterizuje vzájemnou interakci. Druhá část se zabývá třemi konkrétními zástupci afrických zemí -- Angolou, Zambií a Jihoafrickou republikou -- jejich vztahy s Čínou a dopady, které na tyto státy má její přítomnost. Poslední část je věnována problematickým oblastem a potenciálním příležitostem pro Afriku spojeným s tímto fenoménem. Zároveň je v této kapitole zmíněno několik různých postojů a názorů na téma Číny v Africe, ať už od odborníků zaměřujících se na tuto oblast, tak i od představitelů afrických států. |

| Abstract: | The goal of the thesis is to define and describe characteristic features of China's economic expansion to Africa and using a few case studies of selected African countries take a closer look on China's influence on local economies, firms and inhabitants. The first chapter of the thesis shortly describes economic situation of China and Africa as a whole, identifies Chinese actors, their motives and characterizes mutual interaction. The second part is focused on three representative African states -- Angola, Zambia, South Africa -- their relations with China and impacts which China's presence has on them. The last part deals with problematic issues and potential opportunities for Africa related to this phenomenon. This chapter mentions a few different approaches and opinions on the topic of China in Africa as well. Some of them are represented by experts in this field, some of them by the heads of African countries. |
