| Abstract: | Izrael se na počátku 21.století řadí mezi vyspělé státy a upevňuje svoje postavení na mezinárodním poli, a to i přes relativně krátkou existenci, velmi komplikované vztahy na Blízkém východě a nevhodné klimatické podmínky. Tato práce v první části definuje činitele, které determinují situaci současného izraelského hospodářství, a to za pomoci SWOT analýzy. V druhé kapitole se práce podrobně zaměřuje na rozvoj vědy a výzkumu. Cílem je objasnit, jakou má tento faktor úlohu a nastínit jeho přínos na lokální i globální úrovni. Závěrem jsou v práci uvedeny hlavní příčiny izraelského hospodářského úspěchu. |

| Abstract: | At the beginning of 21st century Israel ranks among the develop countries and plays an important role in the international arena despite its relatively short existence, complicated relations in the Middle East and the unfavorable climatic conditions. This bachelor thesis identifies factors determining the current situation of the Israeli economy using SWOT analysis. The second part is focused on the development of science and research. The aim is to clarify the influence of this factor on the Israeli economy and to outline its contribution both at local and global levels. In conclusion there're presented reasons for the success of Israel. |
