| Abstract: | Hlavním cílem práce je analyzovat možnosti mikroúvěrů splnit vysoká očekávání, která jsou s nimi spjata v souvislosti s řešením chudoby. Na konkrétním případě Grameen Bank jsou tato očekávání ilustrována a odůvodněna pomocí statistik této instituce. Dále se práce zabývá hledáním objektivního důkazu pozitivních efektů mikroúvěrů na řešení chudoby a to analýzou jednotlivých případových studií vykonaných v různých zemích světa. Třetí část práce se zaměřuje na krizi mikroúvěrů, čímž analyzuje negativní dopady mikroúvěrů a nebezpečí pro jejich příjemce. |

| Abstract: | The main goal of this paper is to analyse the capability of microcredit to meet the expectations of poverty reduction in the world. Firstly, these expectations are demonstrated and rationalised on the case of Grameen Bank. This paper then continues by enquiring after desinterested proof of positive effects of microcredit on poverty reduction by analysing several case studies conducted in different parts of the world. Last part of the paper analyses recent crises of microfinance, downsides of microcredit and the risks for their receivers. |
