| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou využití finančních prostředků z fondů Evropské unie pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu v Olomouckém kraji. Cílem je zjistit, zda může finanční podpora z fondů Evropské unie napomoci k rozvoji kraje a zvýšení jeho turistického potenciálu. První kapitola je teoretická a věnuje se regionální a strukturální politice Evropské unie. Je charakterizován vývoj regionální politiky EU a představeny hlavní cíle pro programové období 2004 - 2006 a 2007 - 2013. Stručně jsou popsány jednotlivé fondy financující regionální a strukturální politiku EU. V práci je dále nastíněna politika hospodářské a sociální soudržnosti EU v České Republice a její možnosti čerpání finančních prostředků z fondů EU. Podrobněji je představen operační program ROP NUTS II Střední Morava, který může být využit pro podporu rozvoje cestovního ruchu v Olomouckém kraji. Druhá kapitola je praktická a sestává ze dvou částí. V první je nastíněna socioekonomická charakteristika Olomouckého kraje a zanalyzován potenciál regionu pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu. V rámci charakterizace OK je provedena i SWOT analýza, na jejímž základě jsou navržena řešení problematických oblastí. V druhé části je uveden konkrétní příklad úspěšného projektu, který byl realizován v Olomouckém kraji a je provedena analýza jeho dopadu na rozvoj cestovního ruchu. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis analyzis the use of financial resources from EU funds for tourism development in the Olomouc region. The aim is to determine whether funding from the European Union can help to develop the region and enhance its tourism potencial. The first part is theoretical and aims to regional and structural policy of the European union. The development of regional policy and main goals for the programming periods 2004 - 2006 and 2007 - 2013 are characterizated. Further funds financing the regional and structural policy of the European union are briefly described. The regional policy of the Czech Republic and its possibilities of drawing money from EU funds are outlined and operational programme ROP NUTS II Central Moravia, which can be used for the tourism development of the Olomouc region, is presented in detail. The second chapter is practical and consists of two parts. In the first part is made the socioeconomic characterisation of the Olomouc region and analysis of its potential for the tourism development. Within the characterisation of the Olomouc region is also made the SWOT analysis and on its basis are suggested possible solutions of the regional problems. The second part focuses on the specific example of a succesful project which was implemented in the Olomouc region and analyzes its impact on tourism development. |
