| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá vliv zaměstnání při studiu na studijní výsledky. Analýza je provedena prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, kterého se zúčastnili studenti bakalářského stupně studia. Datový soubor je doplněn o údaje z oficiální databáze školy. Zkoumané vztahy jsou teoreticky podloženy a okomentovány na základě teorie sociálního a lidského kapitálu a nabídky práce. Výsledky základního modelu, který zkoumá vztah mezi zaměstnáním a studiem, naznačují, že práce během studia má významný negativní vliv na prospěch. Z rozšiřujícího modelu zohledňujícího počet odpracovaných hodin vyplývá, že studenti pracující více než 15 hodin týdně dosahují výrazně horších studijních výsledků než nepracující studenti, naopak 1-15 hodin práce týdně není spojeno s významným nepříznivým vlivem. Na 10% hladině významnosti byl zjištěn pozitivní vztah mezi prospěchem a prací v oboru studia. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis examines the impact of employment while studying on academic performance. The analysis is conducted through the questionnaire survey, which was attended by undergraduate students. Dataset is supplemented with data from the official database of school. Examined relationships are theoretically supported and commented based on the theory of social and human capital and labor supply. The results of the basic model, which examines the relationship between employment and study, suggest that the work during studies has a significant negative impact on grades. The expansion model, which takes into account the number of hours worked, shows that students working more than 15 hours per week reach significantly worse school performance than non-working students, while work 1-15 hours a week is not associated with significant adverse impact. At the 10% level of significance was found a positive relationship between grades and work in the field of study. |
