| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá problematikou imigrace do České republiky a jejím cíle je odhalit, jak velký vliv má na rozhodování cizinců rozdíl mezi mzdou, kterou dostanou v ČR a mzdou, kterou by za stejnou práci dostali v domovské zemi a zda je tento diferenciál nejvýznamnější determinantou. Na základě výsledků regresní analýzy se mi podařilo potvrdit, že mzda je opravdu významnou determinantou, konkrétně zvýší-li se rozdíl mezi mzdou v ČR a mzdou v zemi původu cizince o jedno procento, zvýší se počet imigrantů o 0,63 procenta. Přestože je plat významný, nemá dle modelu největší vliv na počet imigrantů. Větší vliv má například HDP, které je ale se mzdou korelováno. Výsledkem práce je tedy zjištění, že největším lákadlem pro cizince je vyšší životní úroveň, kterou odráží jak HDP, tak i výška příjmu. |

| Abstract: | This work deals with immigration to the Czech Republic and its goal is to discover how big influence on immigration is caused by the wage gap between foreign countries and Czech Republic for the same work and if this determinant is the most important of this differential. Based on the results of the regression analysis I was able to confirm that wage is indeed an important determinant, namely to increase the gap between wages paid in the Czech Republic and foreigners in the country of origin by one percent, the number of immigrants increase by 0.63 percent. Although salary is important, has not the greatest influence on number of immigrants, depending on the model. GDP has a greater impact, but that is correlated with wages. Result of this work is the finding that the biggest attraction for foreigners is higher living standard, which reflect both GDP and income. |
