| Abstract: | Charakter mandátu poslance Evropského parlamentu (dále jen EP) má určitá specifika, která ho odlišují od poslance parlamentu národního. Práce je svou teoretickou částí zaměřena na analýzu voleb do EP a charakter aktivit poslance, které dotvářejí obraz jeho mandátu. Praktickou část tvoří řízené rozhovory s europoslanci Robertem Duškem (ČSSD) a Edvardem Kožušníkem (ODS). Cílem práce je zachytit vývoj a dynamiku mandátu poslance EP a směr, jakým se může v budoucnu ubírat. |

| Abstract: | The character of the MEP mandate has some specific features that distinguish it from the mandate of the member of a national Parliament. The theoretical part of this bachelor thesis is focused on the elections in the EP and the activities of its deputies that make the picture of their mandate complete. The practical part consists of guided interviews with Robert Dušek (MEP for ČSSD) and Edvard Kožušník (MEP for ODS). The aim of my thesis is to show the development and dynamics of the mandate of an MEP.. |
