| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá burzovně obchodovatelnými fondy, tzv. Exchange Traded Funds(ETF). Cílem práce je prozkoumat investiční atraktivitu ETF oproti otevřeným a zavřeným podílovým fondům a zjistit kladné a záporné stránky těchto investičních instrumentů. Práce popisuje charakteristiky ETF, výhody a nevýhody pro drobné a velké institucionální investory, rozdílné investiční strategie při obchodování s ETF. V analytické časti práce je proveden výzkum účelnosti a efektivnosti investování do ruského trhu v dnešní době pomocí vybraných běžných podílových fondů a ETF. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with the exchange traded funds. The goal is to explore the investment attractiveness of the ETF versus open-end and closed-end mutual funds and identify positive and negative aspects of these investment instruments. This work describes the characteristics of the ETF, the advantages and disadvantages for small and large institutional investors, different investment strategies for trading ETFs. In the analytical part of the thesis is carried out the research of the effectiveness and efficiency of investment in the Russian market today using selected mutual funds and ETFs. |
