| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá implementací Business Intelligence (BI) ve firmě, která obchoduje se surovinami, konkrétně s hnědým uhlím. V dané firmě je nejprve provedena analýza pomocí metodiky Balanced Scorecard a výsledky této analýzy jsou použity jako podklad pro vytvoření BI řešení. První kapitola práce se věnuje stanovení cílů, postupů a struktury práce. Ve druhé kapitole je provedena rešerše prací, které se zabývají podobným tématem a mohou být využity při tvorbě této práce. Po prvních dvou kapitolách následuje teoretická část, která popisuje obor Business Intelligence ve třetí kapitole a metodiku Balanced Scorecard ve čtvrté kapitole. Následuje teoreticko-praktická pátá kapitola, která popisuje firmu, kterou se práce zabývá, a trh s uhlím. Po těchto kapitolách práce přechází k praktické části. V šesté kapitole je metodika Balanced Scorecard aplikována na danou firmu a na základě toho je pak v sedmé kapitole provedena implementace BI řešení a v osmé kapitole interpretace výstupů z BI. Devátá kapitola obsahuje závěr práce a zhodnocení splnění jednotlivých cílů práce. Hlavním přínosem práce bude ukázka toho, jak lze navrhnout a implementovat BI ve firmě, která obchoduje se surovinami, což je obor, kterému práce zaměřené na BI obvykle nevěnují. |

| Abstract: | This diploma thesis is focused on an implementation of a Business Intelligence (BI) in a raw materials trading company, which trades brown coal. At first, a Balanced Scorecard analysis is made in this trading company. Then results of this analysis are used for the implementation of the BI. The first chapter of this thesis describes goals, methods and structure of the thesis. The second chapter contains information about those theses, which have similar topics as my thesis. Next chapters are theoretical part of the thesis. The third chapter describes the Business Intelligence and the fourth chapter describes the Balanced Scorecard. The fifth chapter is a theoretical-practical chapter and describes the company and the brown coal market. Practical part starts on the chapter six, which describes the use of the Balanced Scorecard in the given company. Next chapter uses the outputs of the chapter six and in a chapter seven there is an implementation of the BI. The eighth chapter describes reports of the BI and the ninth chapter contains conclusion and an evaluation of achieving the goals set by this thesis. Main contribution of this thesis is in the demonstration of design and implementation of the BI in a raw materials trading company. |
