| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem a vzájemnými vztahy vybraných ekonomických ukazatelů v rámci Evropské unie -- hrubým domácím produktem, mírou inflace, výší vládního dluhu a mírou nezaměstnanosti. Část práce je věnována vymezení vybraných ukazatelů a popisu statistických metod, které byly k analýze těchto ukazatelů použity. Hlavní část práce se potom zaměřuje na zkoumání vazby mezi hodnotami jednotlivých ukazatelů a výší hrubého domácího produktu pomocí analýzy rozptylu a analyzuje vývoj daných ukazatelů. Ve sledovaném období byly dané ekonomické ukazatele nejvíce ovlivněny zejména v roce 2004, kdy došlo k doposud největšímu rozšíření Evropské unie, což znamenalo mimo jiné např. otevření trhu práce a v některých státech tak došlo k zásadnímu poklesu nezaměstnanosti. Dále lze prakticky u všech ukazatelů sledovat dopad ekonomické krize. Ve většině států tak došlo např. ke zvýšení míry nezaměstnanosti nebo snížení hrubého domácího produktu. |

| Abstract: | The present bachelor thesis focuses on development and interrelationships of selected economic indicators in the European Union -- gross domestic product, inflation rate, the amount of government debt and unemployment rate. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the definition and description of the selected indicators and the statistical methods that were used for analysis of these indicators. The main part is then focused on examining the link between the values of individual indicators and the gross domestic product by analysis of variance. It also deals with the analysis of development of the indicators. During the reporting period, it was especially in 2004 that the economic indicators were affected the most. In that year the European Union witnessed by far the biggest enlargement, which meant among other things opening the labour market. In some of the member states it lead to a significant decline in unemployment. It is also possible for virtually all the indicators to monitor the impact of the economic crisis. In most states, for example, there was an increase in unemployment rate or a reduction in gross domestic product. |
