| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá vlivem globalizace na produktový design. Cílem práce je popsat proměnu faktorů, které na produktový design působí a vliv těchto změn na produktový design. První část práce je věnovaná definici používaných termínů, především pak vymezení kategorie produktového designu a fenoménu globalizace. Ve druhé části práce je nejprve popsán koncept glokalizace, který s globalizací produktového designu úzce souvisí. Následně jsou zmíněny proměny jednotlivých faktorů, které ovlivňují design, tak jak je přinesla globalizace. Praktický dopad těchto změn je demonstrován na příkladech. |

| Abstract: | The thesis discuses the effects of globalization on product design. The aim of the thesis is to describe the changes of factors that affect product design and the impact of these changes on product design. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the definition of terms employed, particularly the terms globalization and product design. In the second part, the concept of glocalization is described and demonstrated, which is closely related to globalization. Changes brought about by globalization of all factors influencing product design mentioned in the first part are considered while the practical impact of these changes is demonstrated on various examples from everyday life. |
